We have now completed the transition to a new provider for our web stream service. In order to hear our programming on-line, you will need to replace your old media player's bookmark or favorite's link for Public Radio 90 with a new one. All you have to do is go once again to the "Listen Live" link, above, select the appropriate media player link on the next page, and save that as your new bookmark. That's all you will need to resume your enjoyment of our programming on-line via the Public Radio 90 web stream.

Media Meet


Media Meet, with Public TV 13 producer and host Sonya Chrisman, is a weekly public affairs program which delves into the issues that are important to the people of the Upper Great Lakes Region. During the half-hour program, local media representatives, community leaders and special guests of regional, national and international prominence engage in intelligent discussion and candid debate regarding topics of local interest.

Media Meet airs Sunday mornings at 7:30 am and repeats the following Monday afternoons  at 3:30 pm.

November 1 & 2 
“Smoke Free State”

We’ll examine the new smoke-free laws and find out how they might effect our area.
November 8 & 9 
“Health Care Reform & Medicare”

A discussion of key U.S. House and Senate proposals for healthcare reform with an emphasis on the Baucus bill and implications for Medicare.
November 15 & 16
“Michigan State Bar”

A conversation with State Bar president Charles Toy covering the bar’s mission, public attitudes toward the law, legal education, the courts and similar topics.

November 22 & 23
“Mental Health Update”
A look at the current state of Mental Health services, high profile disorders such as post traumatic stress, insurance and healthcare reform, and education.

November 29 & 30
“Volunteerism”

As Michigan copes with the ongoing recession, volunteers are likely to take on a more critical role in providing services to citizens. Guests will discuss programs, trends and opportunities in volunteerism.
